Today it is possible to fill a mold with mycelium and obtain the mushroom shape you want within a few days.

It resembles paper maché, the creation solidifies as it dries out.

I use a very simple face mold, then I let the mushroom fill the mold. When the process is complete, I remove the mold and put it back in the laboratory.

That is when the magic happens. The mushroom grows freely and becomes the artist.
