I always end up at the children’s table and draw them whatever they want.

I’m always amused by children’s wishes: « Draw me a dinosaur, which is crying because it is in pain but which is also laughing ».

I’ve also started to make suggestions: « We should add fishtail antennas? Can you imagine an elephant flying with butterfly wings? What if the cat’s tail was a snake? And if the deer antlers were made of coral? »

“Everything we imagine is real” said Picasso. I think he was right.

This is why I always tell children that they can draw anything they can think of, nothing is wrong. This is the start of an idea.
